Our Story
Fencywear was founded in 2024 by Chen Feng, who previously worked as a garment pattern maker in the apparel industry.
Due to his professional background, Mr. Chen developed a habit of observing garment construction and dress styles in daily life. When visiting different cities or traveling abroad, he would often pay attention to how women’s dresses were designed, including silhouette structure, fabric selection, and sewing techniques.
During an overseas trip, he noticed that some dresses sold in local retail stores were similar to styles commonly produced by garment factories in China.
Based on his professional experience in garment pattern making and production processes, he understood that many dress styles rely on standardized sewing techniques and fabric construction methods that are widely used across the apparel industry.
This observation contributed to his decision to explore a more direct connection between manufacturing resources and international customers.
China has one of the most established garment manufacturing ecosystems in the world, including experienced pattern makers, skilled sewing workers, and specialized factories capable of producing a wide range of clothing products.
With his background in garment development and industry connections, Mr. Chen began contacting several factory owners he had worked with previously in the apparel industry.
Fencywear does not design or manufacture original collections, but focuses on sourcing ready-made apparel products from independent manufacturing partners.

Before launching the store, we evaluated multiple garment factories based on several factors, including:

After reviewing several manufacturing partners, we chose to work with factories that maintain stable production processes and consistent product quality.
These factories manufacture dresses according to standard apparel production processes. Products are then supplied to Fencywear for retail sale through our online store.
Fencywear itself does not operate its own garment factory and works with independent manufacturers.
